Ferigard Suspension contains Iron 30 mg and Folic Acid 550 mcg. Role of key ingredients: Iron is an important element for blood formation. It acts as a transport medium in carrying oxygen to all the tissues in the body from the lungs with the help of red blood cells. It treats various medical conditions associated with iron deficiency including anaemia. Folic Acid is a type of Vitamin B that helps control the folate content in blood and helps generate new blood cells. It is used to treat anaemia caused by folic acid deficiency. Ferigard Suspension helps maintain haemoglobin level, and is used to treat iron deficiency, anaemia during pregnancy, nutritional deficiency and anaemia due to blood loss.
